Welcome to PERNSAC

The aim of the Club is to promote safe and enjoyable sport diving for Service Personnel of all ranks, MoD Civil Servants, long-term MoD Contractors and close relatives in the Portsmouth area. The Club caters for all levels of diving ability, welcoming novices and experienced divers alike.

It enjoys a wide range of diving activities, which include trips to Horsea Island Lake, day trips in the Solent waters and longer expeditions along the South Coast, around the UK and abroad.

To support our activities the Club runs several inflatable boats, and has a porta-cabin installed at Horsea Island Lake used for equipment storage, lecturing, and as a changing facility. The Club also has use of casemates at HMS Sultan for storing boats and equipment, and owns a quantity of diving equipment, primarily used for training and to support expeditions.
